2 devices: the 99€ 7 inch "Pupiltab 'and the 149€ 10 inch' Teachtab. All units are equipped with Android 4 Ice Cream Sandwich, a multitouch screen, a 1.2 GHz Cortex A8 Core processor, 2 USB ports, an HDMI and a MicroSD port and 512Mb/1Gb 4Gb/16Gb RAM and internal memory. The devices are WiFi enabled, and can be provided an additional 3G dongle via the Internet.

20120509: Sven wrote an emailed Samia LOUNIS - OLPC Europe and asked her if they take this up with the Ministry of Education and federation of education organising networks (Christian, State, Communal, ...). Awaiting reply.

1. Can it withstand kids handling them?
2. 7" Tabbled 108€=99€+9€ neoprene covering sleeve is nearly as good as an iPad.
3. 108€ tabbled vs 164€ OLPC 7.5” display XO. Remember: an XO is And a laptop And a portable casing And PV chargeable ready And it is open soft and hardware And they put themselves automatically in a network. The tabbled does NOT have a casing. That has to be purchased separately.
