Institutions in the European educational landscape:

  1. European Commission - Education and Culture
  2. European Schoolnet is a network of 30 European Ministries of Education, based in Brussels, Belgium. THey aim to bring innovation in teaching and learning to key stakeholders: Ministries of Education, schools and researchers. Mainly to respond to EU Directorate General for Education call's of proposals and tenders. So they are the ones we have to propose the creation of an olpc lab and cell to in their cf. below Future Classroom Lab. See also OLPC Europe/Schoolnet.
  3. Future Classroom Lab by European Schoolnet supporting 30 ministries and industry partners to help visualise how conventional classrooms and other learning spaces can be reorganised to support changing styles of teaching and learning. See OLPC Europe/Future Classroom Lab.
  4. The BETT Show (Warning: loud music) A learning technology event. BETT is a global meeting place for the education technology community, bringing together 35,000 educators and learning professionals every January. Attending the event is a way to see the latest technology and innovative solutions that inspire, in order to shape and improve the way people learn from the classroom to the boardroom.
