Laos is one of the poorest countries in Asia. It should be a challenge not to ignore the poorest of the poor. People in Laos don't have much money but, they still smile and have an open heart.

Wikipedia does not exists in the in Lao language or script. There are not many computers in this country. Wikipedia will not be a useable lexica in 2007 if it is only a volunteer work.
Salaries in Laos are low compared with European or American revenues. A local office should be opened. In this office translation work should be coordinated. Because of the low salaries in Laos translation costs will small.

Most of the content has to be developed or adapted. There are regions without internet. Some content should be delivered with the hardware.
