This prototype of the FreeIconToSpeech activity has been replaced by an alpha version at http://wiki.laptop.org/go/FreeIconToSpeech
Preliminary version of OLPCiconSpeak.activity. It is based on Mike Fletcher's wrapper: skeleton [| Making Small Software for Small People, Sugar/OLPC Coding by Example]. It incorporates the functions of OLPCIconSpeak Activity - first prototype and a new gui capability enabled by pygame Speech synthesis. This version is obsolete. It has been replaced by File:Ispeak-1.xo. The functionality is essentially the same but the new version runs at full speed on the Xo.
