Can you apply from outside the USA?

Answer: YES. The OLPC International Internship Program welcomes all university students to apply. This year we will send interns to Peru and Uruguay so we do require proficiency in the Spanish language.

Are non-students eligible?

Answer: The OLPC internship program accepts applications from university students. At this time non-students are not eligible.

Is this open to locals?

Will you be offering this opportunity to locals in Perú and Uruguay?

What about people from other, non-Developed nations?

ANSWER: Yes, the OLPC International Internship Program is open to all undergraduate and graduate students. --Nia 20:10, 26 February 2009 (UTC)

Is this coordinated with local volunteer groups in Uruguay and Perú?

Long term results and sustainability would want that locals be involved, so they are less dependent on this kind of overseas aid and can be more effective.

Please outline what kind of coordination is taking place. I will add some info on the wiki page to help current applicants get involved already. Image:red.png Yamaplos 17:57, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
