If Microsoft intention is to release a free of charge dedicated OS and application for OLPC then I appreciate it. but selling a package is not a good idea.
Who cares what Microsoft does. What is important is to give the end-user a choice. If people want to load Windows on XO laptops then let them. The main benefit of the option to load Windows is that it will quiet objections from people who don't appreciate the constructivist learning philosophy. Then let the best software win and if anybody who actually uses Sugar thinks that Windows is superior then I'll be very surprised. Jpritikin 11:42, 11 January 2008 (EST)
