About Alyson
I'm a senior information architect volunteering for the OLPC/DITA/Wikipedia/Wikislice (we need a better name, don't we?) project, serving as a project manager. In my day job I work on IBM's corporate information strategy team, dealing with content and information architecture and thinking about strategies for integrating complex, multi-product, scenario-based information. In my not-in-front-of-the-computer and not-on-the-phone life, I'm looking for ways to be outside, in the kitchen, traveling, or with a good book. I'm very excited to be involved in the OLPC project -- my husband and I do not have children (the precocious dog does not count), and this is a great way to help positively influence the lives of many children.
