After much interest in getting meetups going in the LA area, it looks like it is hard to actually get a group of people to agree on a time and a place. There are currently two threads in the OLPC News Forums on LA-area meetups--one for the LA County/Ventura County area, and another for Orange County. With luck, one or both groups of XO enthusiasts will get together the weekend of Jan 12-13.

- To add your name to the list, put an asterisk and your information on a new line under the appropriate location
- If you have set up an account on the OLPC wiki, you can add an asterisk and then four tildes (* ~~~~), and that will 'sign' your entry (with your wiki User ID and a link to your User page, e.g. BlankVerse).
- If you live in an area that I didn't add an area for, just add a new line with three plus signs before and after the name of the area (e.g. ===Palm Springs===).
