Hi - I prefer % instead of # in shell code, just because # could also mean comment, and is confusing. --JordanCrouse (Talk to me!) 19:22, 11 August 2006 (EDT)

Hrm, I changed it to # because another coworker I had remarked that the '%' meant to him to run the commands as a normal user; '#' meant to run as root. --SamatJain 20:41, 11 August 2006 (EDT)
