[edit] Proposal: WHO game

The topic of the game is to eradicate cholera, malaria, yellow fever and possibly other diseases.

[edit] Educational objective

The educational objective of the game is to learn about human medicine in a context that is very accessible for young children. The game should contain an in-game Wikipedia with simplified versions of all relevant articles. The game should require the player to read up on the diseases in order to be able to play the game.

[edit] Construction and management simulation

The game could contain a limited construction and management simulation for research facilities of the WHO.

[edit] Objectives (ideas)

  • Breed a genetically modified dragon fly that decimates the Anopheles mosquito (the malaria host) effectively.
