This is proprietary and a bit convoluted -- a great deal of overhead for a system that noone will later be able to hack and improve; it seems unlikely to receive a warm welcome from our community in its current formulation.

Is there a simple subset of this idea that could be carried out in an open fashion, to help children connect with one another and discover their realms of expertise, without becoming tied to a particular proprietary solution or network? Then they could have the option of how to pursue further connections -- through the more elaborate solution you provide, or through personal networks... --Sj talk 23:30, 11 February 2008 (EST)
