Emphasize external vs. battery during imaging?

Should the importance of external power during re-imaging be emphasized/explained? It would have to be done by someone who understands it well enough to write it clearly, which leaves me out. I've seen this issue referenced in various discussions of updating and re-flashing, so it seems important enough to lay out clearly in the deployment guide. Cjl 13:15, 25 March 2008 (EDT)

Yes, this is a good idea. Simply having point 2 there ("plugging it in to external power;") isn't entirely clear... I myself have assumed at some points in the past that that could be skipped on a full battery. Since one way to destroy a machine is to lose power while performing certain upgrades, it checks that it is plugged in before beginning the upgrade. --Sj talk 01:30, 12 April 2008 (EDT)
