I ran several tests on collaboration and connectivity this week using the media.mit.edu School Server (schoolserver.media.mit.edu). This school server was using an access point (not an active antenna).
No visible issues or crashes were encountered during the tests on 708 Release Candidate build (add link to Friends in Testing).
Steps to use collaboration 1 - Boot up each XO 2 - Make sure all XOs are connected to the same School server (which image?) 3 - One user opens activity 4 - User shares activity (say exactly how) 5 - Other users see shared activity in mesh view and join 6 - Detail what exactly they do in the activity (e.g. chat, write text and upload images, save, etc.) See also Use Case at: http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Use_Cases#Collaboration_Examples)
Thanks a lot for tracking this!
