• Need

  • Group Bulletin Board
  • Extensions to git, pootle, ProjectDB, etc.

  • Location and interest awareness
  • Localization
  • Activity stream (a la FB)
  • Wiki integration (don't duplicate info from Wiki, rather try to encourage people to link to respective wiki-pages)

Roadmap

• one workunit = two weeks
• use G1G1 2008 announcement for big launch of community platform
• slowly start introducing it to people on forum.laptop.org, olpcnews.com/forums and elsewhere once we have a basic version running
