Who is Deborah Donohue? I have been a Technology Integration Specialist in the Worcester Public Schools since 1996. I happened upon the OLPC wiki after hearing Nicholas Negraponte speak at the NECC Conference in 2006 in SanDiego http://www.olpcnews.com/people/negroponte/negropontes_iste_nec.html I read about the GiveOne GetOne program and decided to jump in!

How to Contact Me My personal email address is donohued@mac.com

My particular interest in OLPC I have always had a believer that every child should have access to technology. Access to computers is not available to all students in our district. I founded the One-To-One Technology Special Interest Group (SIG) part of MassCUE to provide information to teacher about handheld computers, laptops and other 1-1 technologies. I was instrumental in piloting a program where 2 classrooms were given handheld computers. I am interested in whether or not it will be possible at some point to purchase some XOs for my district. I am especially interested in curriculum around the XOs and who is doing what in that area.
