I began with this (probably quite simple to do), hacking gtkentry.c in progress (need to do the same for GtkTextView)...

Simulation Tools

I need to ask Matthew Allum about "Xepher" and possibly other tools (developed at first for Nokia).

GTK+ theme engine

I'll probably begin by searching whether there's an existing theme close to what we want, and I can start from there.
