What Is Poetry Jam

Poetry Jam is an open source game being developed for the XO by members of the Games Mailing List. The idea is to create a simple and interactive word game, based on the concept of magnetic poetry. The application will use the Mesh Network capability of the XO, so that users can collaborate on poems.

Platform

The game will be written in a programming language TBA.

Word Sets

Themed word sets will be created, and then translated into different languages for use in different communities. It would also be a great language learning tool to have a double sided poetry set, where the user could select a Home language and a Foreign language, and be able to flip the magnet over to see the words in their foreign language of choice.

A spreadsheet is being set up so that contributors may begin adding themed word sets.
