It would be nice also to add the policies actually implemented for strings installation:

No, and this is not policy, but just behavior of the gettext toolset --Korakurider

Maybe I remember a parm into the msgfmt... anyway, it would be nice to write down a how pootle options behave in target system --Carlo 10 July 2008
