Short Bio:

Currently working on http://www.psyced.org the multi-protocol messaging server for distributed communications.

Also working at symlynX, realizing large scale chat events for MTV Europe and T-Online.

Late 90s, involved at several W3C conferences and IETF meetings.

1995, first "webmaster" at STERN Magazine, Hamburg.

1994, concept and design of the http://www.psyc.eu protocol for synchronous conferencing.

1990, collaboration on IRC. best known for one of the least important things: introduced the unbelievable /me command.

1988, developed a peer-to-peer chat system for virtual machines on the BITNET mainframe network.
