We spent part of the night working on designing the front and back of a simple card to pass out to educators and publishers interested in sharing content with OLPC. Currently the test reads "Reach millions of students in the developing world | Contribute material to OLPC http://edu.laptop.org". Reactions wanted; the url should redirect to Educators.
- It isn't clear to me that this audience is going to know what to do when they get to the Educators page. Many would not have experience with wikis. 24.60.143.152 02:54, 6 July 2006 (EDT)
- As of 2006-07-06 0745Z clicking on http://edu.laptop.org produces a "The page cannot be displayed" message.
- What size are the cards going to be? If they are credit card size then people may be likely to put such a card in their wallet and thus have it readily available. The size specification for such a card is on the following page. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_7810
