I am a teacher in Redmond, Oregon. I teach two classes of high school social studies. We have studied the one laptop per child program as part of our curriculum. We would like to increase our involvement with the program in this way: we would like to raise money to purchase laptops for children in other countries; in exchange, we would like to interact electronically with some children who receive the laptops. The purpose of the interaction is for us to learn about their country, culture, families, etc. Do you think such an interaction is possible? I would be willing to develop written guidelines for a classroom collaboration with your company that could be used as a template for other classrooms across the country/world. I would think many classrooms would be interested in doing some fundraising and purchasing computers in exchange for some interaction with the recipients.

Thank you.
