Juan Pablo ESCOBAR - one of the 2 kids of Pablo ESCOBAR the head of the heroin drug cartel - and his sister Manuela, fled Colombia in 1995 after failing to find a country that would grant asylum, wrote a letter to seek forgiveness from the sons of Rodrigo Lara Bonilla, Colombia's justice minister in the early 1980s, who was assassinated in 1984, as well as the sons of Luis Carlos Galán, the presidential candidate, who was assassinated in 1989 by his father. Juan Pablo and his sister grew up believing their father was wonderful and loving person. So were the children of the people he murdered thinking of their parents. Tragically the father of the one ordered the assassination of the father and relatives of the others, ruining their lives. The brutality of Pablo ESCOBAR was so omnipresent, and so became the hatred against him, so that in the end his kids were obliged having to change names and leave their country.
