Ultra Mobile XO Server
This is a project by OLPC France link OLPC France
Description
- To build an ultra mobile XO Server for environments (schools or demonstrations) where a standard XS server is not an option.
- To adapt, configure and field test a XO based ultra mobile server (with additional storage), with the standard services assigned to an XS server as well as additional services (streaming, Moodle- or Drupal-server, an EduBlogging-system, "content server").
- This server will be tested on the other actions planned by OLPC France, in situations where the use of a light server will be adequate ("A schoold day with OLPC", "Windrose", "OLPC in my city", "Discovery action").
- This Ultra Mobile XO Server should combine the advantages of the XO (mobility, ruggerized, versatility, power management, etc,.
