Joyride is UNSUPPORTED by OLPC. While it is unlikely that it will damage your hardware, it may cause data corruption. Do not use it on mission-critical systems.

Now that that's out of the way: Joyride is the place where OLPC developers play.

It contains all the bleeding-edge features that will be included in the next release.

How to get testing!

  1. Register a [dev.laptop.org trac account] if you haven't already, that is the place that you will be reporting bugs
  2. Get a developer key and disable security
  3. Check for the latest build by scrolling to the bottom and looking for "LATEST-IS"
  4. Use olpc-update (or various offline methods) to upgrade to "joyride-buildnumber"

If you have any trouble, feel free to ask on IRC or the devel mailing list.
