alsamixer mixer should be mentioned in suger audio diagnosis section
The audio diagnosis section should mention alsamixer. If the alsamixer configuration is altered it is possible to end up with either both or one speaker muted. alsamixer can also mute the microphone. I have had situations were the alsamixer settings have been altered from other software. In fact it may be worth while to include information on the default alsa config settings Tinker 06:42, 12 July 2008 (UTC)
