Deployments

Deployments are any place where there are laptops. This can either be deployments that OLPC is helping create, or ones that grassroots groups have started. They can be from 10 to 10,000 laptops. For a list of countries where there are laptops see List of Countries and you can get to more specifics from there.

The following information represents the number and type of XOs that were manufactured and either

• Currently deployed in country or
• Shipped from the factory and on their way or
• Are likely to be shipped in the near future

Not all of these are currently in schools. Wherever possible, the status of each country and additional details on their software and deployment status is included at the bottom.
