Janet Li is a first year undergraduate student at MIT and graduated ''cum laude'' from Choate Rosemary Hall in 2008. She is thinking of majoring in biological engineering, and has done research at the Yale Department of Engineering and Applied Science, the Center for Immunotherapy of Cancer and Infectious Diseases at the University of Connecticut Health Center, and currently the Department of Genetics at Harvard Medical School. She is also the president of her own company, [http://www.easychore.com Easy Chore], which focuses on ingenious household products for which she has written patents. Janet loves people and has always been involved in community service, whether tutoring at local elementary schools, accompanying community choirs, or serving on student councils. She also has a passion for music, playing both piano and flute, and loves traveling and doing new things. |
