This page lists goals and plans for initial bringup of the XO1.5 board.
Goals
- EC working
- Memory controller working and memory stable (memtest86)
- OLPC display working
- Keyboard/mouse working
- USB working
- SD memory cards working
- Boots Linux kernel from SD card
- Rudimentary power management tests from OFW
- X?
Non-goals
- Camera input (driver won't be ready in time)
- Power management from Linux
- SDIO WLAN
- Audio

- Harald and BIOS/memory controller expert from Via

Sequence
- Richard goes first, brings up EC and power rails with Gary & Bryan Ma.
- Wad, Mitch, and Via BIOS/memory engineer arrive shortly thereafter, bring up memory controller
- Harald arrives after OFW is working, brings up Linux
- Team members work in parallel on the respective areas of expertise, hopefully with several boards
