This script is used in Bangladesh and West Bengal in India. Due to the large Bangladeshi immigrant community living in London, England, it should be relatively easy to find people with computer skills who can assist with any font issues as well as with production of content in Bengali.
IndLinux is working on a Bengali distribution of Linux. Volunteers in Bangladesh, West Bengal, and elsewhere are working on a Linux distribution in Bengali, called Bengalinux. Several Free Bengali fonts are readily available, including the Ankur fonts and Code2000.
Bengali uses an INSCRIPT keyboard.
