groups.laptop.org (aka one.laptop.org and the groups application portal) is a community site being designed to feature profiles of community groups, including projects, small deployments, and learning clubs. A draft of the site can be seen at http://one.mogidi.net/en . Design and pageflow are still under development - input and suggestions are welcome.
Audience
Anyone looking for something to work on, or people looking for help with their projects - from hardware to volunteering to speaking opportunities.
The main participants targeted by the initial design are new project creators joining the community, new volunteers looking for a way to describe their interest and availability, existing project owners who want a canonical place to hook their existing blog and other feeds into an olpc site to update those following their work, and people searching for projects related to their work.
