DEDUCTO
Deducto is a symbol-based deductive reasoning puzzle and pattern matching game. The basic concept of DEDUCTO was put forth by Mr.Walter Bender. The game successfully challenges the logical and deductive skills of children and makes them think differently thus enhancing their thinking ability. It can engage a child as young as 6 years.
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES
>> >> >> Increase the concentration level of children. >> Provide children with an environment to learn and grow intellectually.
The game aims at making children think differently by making them identify patterns.
DEDUCTO is a COGNITIVE GAME
DEDUCTO showcases a 5*5 board filled with two types of symbols:
• Black Boxes • White Boxes
There are 10 levels in the game. The symbols would be arranged in different patterns in each level. The player has to identify the hidden relationships between the symbols with the help of various examples and counter examples at his expense. Five consecutive correct answers promotes the player to the next level. Each board identified falsely costs the player his efficiency. As the game progresses, the difficulty level increases subsequently. Thus children's logical reasoning and cognitive abilities are put to test.
