Introduction
This is a Lending Library beta test (main contact person is Kadia Meckes).
Process
- Find "mitstreiter" for the project. Lent the laptop to different people for testing and to make it more public,
- Ask the tester what experiences they have with the online documentation, if it is comprehensiv or not
- Improve the customer documentetaion and translate it to german language.
- Lend laptops for testing
- Improve the customer documentation and translate new elements into german.
- Review the current porcess and define the next steps and milestones.

German Manual
Translate the english manuals into a german understandable version. See how is the look and feel on the laptop and how to provide more useful online help on the laptop for the different target groups (u.a. developer, child, teacher, other people...) Test the help and search for improve potential The idea of OLPC is good. To see what potential is possible in technical writer environment i will look on the system and. Depending on my daily work i do know the current state of the art how to write useful help text for user.
