OLPCO2e

This was an idea proposed by Sven Aerts to develop and unlock the Low Carbon Economy Potential or "CO2 e-Certificates" or "Kyoto Protocol" potential of OLPC's projects and mission. It briefly had its own site proposed at OLPCO2e.org; however the project as a whole was not pursued and did not proceed.

Some highlights of the proposed, now defunct, idea:

• It was frequently connected to the UN goal of Universal Primary Education by 2015, and to other UN programs such as Agenda 21, without prelude.
• An "Animated OLPCO2e Assistant" was discussed and designed
• A Quality Control Panel was developed for the proposal
• It had its own OLPCO2e Virtual/Wiki Office... on a different wiki... and a separate Discussion Group. Also a private "Staff & Kernel Team" wiki (unclear what the Kernel team would have been for), a google calendar, and office hours.
