One could acquire non-exclusive (e.g. e-book only) publishing rights outside Germany for (e.g.) kess-erziehen and translate to other languages, especially languages from underdeveloped countries.

The second edition is not yet available as a Wikibook but can be requested from the author. Publication as an ebook for the OLPC is possible without a fee for all countries below HDI 80 (and in other languages than German), for all other countries only the first edition is currently available under Creative Commons Attribution/Share-Alike.
