This page describes the Tinderbox Power setup for the XO-1.75 A3 prototype.
Readings
It must be emphasized that these power measurements are a starting point! They will be improved (hopefully by leaps and bounds !) They are already a good improvement, in terms of power supply efficiency, over the A1/A2 numbers.
Example readings from the XO-1.75 A3 Tinderbox include:
- Linux when Idle
- Linux writing to the SD
- Linux w. USB key inserted
- Linux reading from a USB key
- 2.5W drawn from USB
- Others are at http://dev.laptop.org/~wad/xo1.75_a3/
Channels
These are the channels wired up to the Aligent 34980A voltmeter.
