Deployments are any place where there are laptops. This can either be deployments that OLPC is helping create, or ones that grassroots groups have started. They can be from 10 to 10,000 laptops. There are roughly 2.5 million XOs in the field as of January, 2012. The information below represents the number of XOs delivered, shipped or ordered for each country or region. Not all XOs are currently in schools. Where possible, the status of each country and additional details on their software and deployment status is included at the bottom (and on the detailed deployment page).
