Checks to make on an OLPC XO being re-used.
- charge the battery,
- upgrade the firmware,
- disable security, using the collection stick, then get a developer key,
- run the hardware diagnostics,

- set the clock,
- install the operating system, see release notes,
- clean the keyboard, touchpad, and display,
- tighten the screws, check the battery latch,
- test the wireless antenna.
