Ditto the introduction. Nice work.

For the uninitiated, the release date in the table might seem odd. Today for example, the date is July 11 while the table shows the release was July 9 but the status is "in development". What about listing only a month or year; "July 2012" or "2012"? The date could be added after release. Regards, Peasthope 03:16, 12 July 2012 (UTC)

OK, thanks. Is the target date visible in the wiki? I've glanced at the release notes for 12.1.0 again and not found it. Regards, Peasthope 15:06, 3 August 2012 (UTC)

:Yes, on the page for the release, not on the releases page, and not the release's release notes page. --Quozl 23:56, 3 August 2012 (UTC)

:No, merely inattention. The final build number was missing from the release pages, see my changes to 13.1.0 and 13.2.0 and the consequent update to Releases. Time of release

The release date is from the release page, and can be changed there. Page history for 12.1.0 shows 9th July was the planned release date on 15th June, but I know it has been delayed. --Quozl 06:46, 12 July 2012 (UTC)

Property:Release_date also has "So a release date should never be in the future unless you're really confident it's going to happen!" Therefore a system in development has no release date and the Releases page should not show a release date for any system in development. More helpful would be to estimate the release date as a range. 2012 August-September for example. All we need is to fix the wiki software to allow that. Regards, ... Peasthope 02:35, 1 August 2012 (UTC)

Interesting, thanks. I've changed the release date to a target date. --Quozl 03:22, 1 August 2012 (UTC)

OK, thanks. Is the target date visible in the wiki? I've glanced at the release notes for 12.1.0 again and not found it. Regards, Peasthope 15:06, 3 August 2012 (UTC)

Yes, on the page for the release, not on the releases page, and not the release's release notes page. --Quozl 23:56, 3 August 2012 (UTC)

Missing 13.2.0

(moved from Talk:Release_notes/13.2.0)

Incidentally, in Releases, the Software box shows that 13.2.0 is the current release but the table doesn't have the line for it. Has this release been cancelled or postponed? Vandalism? Thanks, ... Peasthope 15:45, 17 October 2013 (UTC)

No, merely inattention. The final build number was missing from the release pages, see my changes to 13.1.0 and 13.2.0 and the consequent update to Releases. The software box is a template not specific to this page. --Quozl 01:45, 18 October 2013 (UTC)
