Detailed Description
Wiktionary is dependent on mediawiki. By adding it as a separate feature, it makes it possible for a deployment to start one or more local wikis. For example, a school could create a wiki of school news.
Benefit to XSCD
This feature supports Wiktionary. It provides an additional capability for a deployment of creating a local wiki.
Scope
This feature is an optional service to be installed by deployments.
UI Design
UI is defined by wikimedia.
How To Test
Follow the corresponding slide show to set up a local wiki.
User Experience
At a training workshop, teachers and staff will be introduced to the Wiki slide show. This step by step will introduce wiki markup.
Dependencies
This install uses PostgreSQL.
Contingency Plan
This feature will not be included in XSCD.
