One Laptop per Child is interested in learning activities of all kinds-- subject-specific exercises, interdisciplinary activities, generalized models for learning and play, etc. The following example activities are intended as inspiration. They should be used as guidelines, not stencils.

Example Activity: Class Orchestra

Class Orchestra. An activity outline for how to stage an XO orchestra in your class inspired by a story from Galadima School, Nigeria. A good example of extending a single-subject exercise into a interdisciplinary activity.

Example Activity: Right Angles

Right Angles. A well-structured lesson plan about right angles, as well as a model for collaboration between classrooms. A good example of how to engage constructionist principles in the process of crafting a detailed lesson plan.

Example Activity: Poll Builder

Poll Builder overview and lessons (1, 2, 3, 4). A series of lesson plans about polling, designed by the World Wide Workshop Foundation in partnership with OLPC. A good model for modular lesson plans that engage constructionist principles.
