:The focus should be on tools of expression and communication. We have a small footprint for the distribution itself, so we need to keep the list contained. However, maybe rather than restricting the list at this stage, we should build it as a table where we can list attributes that allow us to evaluate the appropriateness of proposed applications: e.g., package dependencies—we want to be reusing as much as possible; memory usage; etc. (There is a list of criteria on the [[Development issues]] page.) Are there any guidelines as to what applications can make it in this list?
