As of B1 there was no support for urdu language in OLPC. After discussing available fonts and keyboards crulp ([www.crulp.org]) was used to provide support for urdu language in OLPCs. In fact starting from B2 machines there was urdu content provided in OLPC library.

Zekr is an open source Quran browser built upon java platform. With the help of zekr's creator Mohsen we were able to run Zekr on B2 machine. There are some optimization which need to be carried out to fully port Zekr on OLPC. Also there is a need to convert this software as a proper OLPC activity.([http://siahe.com/zekr/download.html])

Currently we have achieved the following:
