Start the Browse activity

Justification: HIG

Actions:

1. Click on the Browse activity icon

Verify:

• A Browse icon is added to the activity ring
• The Browse icon throbs to indicate the activity is starting
• The Browse activity starts

Go to some URLs

Justification: Self; Spec

Actions:

1. Enter a URL in the location field
2. Hit the Enter key on the keyboard

Try these URLs...

1. Google Calendar
2. iGoogle
3. Try a secure web page (https)

Verify:

• The web page for the URL is displayed
• The URL is listed in the Browse activity entry in the Jornal
• The problematic urls (iGoogle, Google Calendar, etc) don't break the browser

Go back in the history

Justification: Self; Spec

Actions:

1. Goto a new webpage (click on a link)
2. Click on the Back button

Verify:

• The first webpage visited is displayed

Go forward in the history

Actions:

1. Click on the Forward button

Verify:

• The second webpage visited is displayed

Reload a page

Actions:

1. Click on the Reload button

Verify:

• The current webpage is refreshed

Open a new tab

Verify:

• New tab appears at the bottom of browsing area.

Create a bookmark

1. Click on the "star" icon

Verify:

• A bookmark shows up in the history
• Bookmark is added to the Journal session entry

Share bookmark

Actions:

1. Share a bookmark (how?)

Verify:

• Bookmark (star) shows up in bottom tray

Clipboard interaction

1. Select text and copy to clipboard
2. Copy text from clipboard into a text form
3. Copy (or save) an image to the clipboard (or Journal)

Verify:

• copy works (both directions); check formatting of rich text, unicode, embedded markup, etc.

• bookmarks are listed

• searches are listed
• items can be grouped by site

• the history can be searched

View pages offline

Actions:

1. Go offline
2. Revisit a page that you previously visited while online

Verify:

• A notice is displayed that the page is cached and its age is given.
• The page is still accessible
• Link to non-cached pages are identifed as unreachable

Go back online

Actions:

1. Go online
2. Revisit a cached page

Verify:

• Page should display the online version
