Making this computer is an achievement we are proud of. But it is not the end goal. See it as a finger pointing to something much bigger. Our moon is a vision of a deep and far reaching change in the global learning environment. ALL children in the future will have a better chance to learn in more effective and more humane ways. But our immediate and urgent concern is not with improving learning for those who already have a functional education but bringing education to the billion (or so) children whose access to knowledge lags far behind.

But our immediate and urgent concern is not with improving learning for those who already have a functional education but bringing education to the billion (or so) children whose access to knowledge lags far behind.
