Getting started

First, Create an account on the OLPCWiki!, and tell us something about your self on your userpage After that, you may want to try some Sugar Emulation to get acquainted with the XO GUI

Organize Images namespace

  • Tag items as picture, activity image, pdf, vid, etc
  • brief meta tags (to be defined with OLPC)
  • other missing items specific for format
  • appropriate wiki templates for each item

Deprecate obsolete/out of date technical information

  • Tag as Deprecated using the {{Deprecated}} template
  • identify current technical information
  • ensure that up to date information replaces deprecated

Review Trac tix for documentation gaps

  • Find tickets that have been closed because they were more procedural questions than actual issues
  • Identify appropriate place on wiki for knowledge
  • incorporate appropriately
