Note:The status of this pilot school is currently unknown. Following the dissolution of the Nepali NGO OLPC Nepal, it is unclear what is happening at this pilot site. The pilots at Bishwamitra and Bashuki are still in operation and are being administered by a different group.

Intro

14th March, 2008
First introduction of OLPC Nepal team to the school. Shankar, Nirmal and Prakash visited the school for the first time with Department of Education(DoE) officials. DoE selected the school as the pilot site. Some days before our visit DoE officials had visited the school and confirmed it as the pilot school. We met Narayan Prasad Mahaju, the school headmaster, who is really enthusiastic and energetic person even in the age of sixties. Follow up discussion with Teachers and School Management Committee representatives.Nirmal and Shankar went to school to plan the activities for the pilot. We talked with school management committee and the teachers about the program and made a draft plan for the pilot.
