DEDUCTO offers a 5*5 board filled with four different types of animated figures (symbols). There are 10 levels in the game. The symbols would be arranged in different patterns in each level. The player’s task is to identify these patterns with the help of various examples and counter examples available. So player has to decide that if the given slide matches with the last few slides or do not and answer accordingly. Five correct answers in a row promotes the player to the next level. Each board identified incorrectly costs the player his efficiency, and obviously as the level increases it becomes harder to find the hidden relation ship between slides.

A player can go through these examples and counter examples any number of times.
These assist the player in identifying the pattern.

Clicking on this Tab player gets to see a board and 2 buttons labeled “Yes” or “No”.
If player finds the board to be TRUE, he clicks on “YES Button”, else on “NO Button”.
The next board that will be given to the player will have no dependency on the previous board.

Every correct answer increases player’s Efficiency, while every wrong answer (board identified incorrectly) reduces it.
A message is also displayed on the right hand side column stating “Your answer is Correct” or “Your answer is Wrong”. The column also displays “Level” , “Number of consecutive correct answers” and “Efficiency of the player”.

• After 5 consecutive Correct Answers, the player is promoted to the next level. Just before entering the next level, a summary message is shown, informing the player about his efficiency and next level to which he is promoted.

DEDUCTO

Deducto is a symbol-based deductive reasoning puzzle and pattern matching game. The basic concept of DEDUCTO was put forth by Mr.Walter Bender. The game successfully challenges the logical and deductive skills of children and makes them think differently thus enhancing their thinking ability. It can engage a child as young as 6 years.

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

>> >> >> Increase the concentration level of children. >> Provide children with an environment to learn and grow intellectually.

The game aims at making children think differently by making them identify patterns.

DEDUCTO is a COGNITIVE GAME

DEDUCTO showcases a 5*5 board filled with two types of symbols:

Black Boxes
White Boxes

There are 10 levels in the game. The symbols would be arranged in different patterns in each level. The player has to identify the hidden relationships between the symbols with the help of various examples and counter examples at his expense. Five consecutive correct answers promotes the player to the next level. Each board identified falsely costs the player his efficiency. As the game progresses, the difficulty level increases subsequently. Thus children's logical reasoning and cognitive abilities are put to test.
