- 04-02-09: A wiki in Hebrew has been opened in "Hamakor" website to manage the new Debian-based system for the pilot.
- 12-1-09: There are currently preparations for an OLPC pilot project by the community in Israel with participation of the Ilan Ramon youth physics center. The pilot is going to be with old B2 laptops that are not supported by OLPC anymore. However it would set ground for a bigger scale project.
- The Hebrew translation project has been paused since Sugar would not be used in the first batch, however there is intention to use it.
