The Info Slicer activity lets students and teachers write essays in the context of a set of wiki pages pulled from a local server or the Web. It provides an editing interface for writing essays, tools for excerpting sentences, paragraphs, and photos from downloaded articles into the essays, and a mechanism for publishing a set of essays to others in one's network.
