The idea started when 1000 XO laptops were donated to west bank. A bunch of graduated and under-graduate college students, wanted to help deploy these XO laptops so that the kids will have a better education. The Palestinian XO community consists entirely of volunteer; it is divided into 5 basic teams to distribute the work. PaleXO had workshops for teachers and is now hitting the schools and teaching kids how to use the laptops. |

PaleXO just celebrated its 1st Birthday and it has been a very successful year thanks to all the volunteers who were very committed and worked so hard to keep this project alive and prosper in spite of all the obstacles.
